ABOUT ME
Hey Friends! I am Pam Williams and I am SO glad you are here! I am a rural Georgia girl who has my roots firmly planted in faith and family. I am the granddaughter of a Baptist preacher and I still attend my childhood church that he pastored for over thirty years. While I invited Jesus into my heart as a child, I continue to grow in my walk with Him each day. I have tripped into many potholes along the way and I cringe to think of how many mistakes I have made. I am so thankful for God's grace and mercy. He covers my sins in forgiveness and wraps His arms of perfect love around me. My hope is that God will use these words to draw you to Him.
ABOUT MY Story
Have you ever seen a beautiful tapestry? Maybe it weaves together a lovely scene from the outdoors or maybe even an event from the Bible. Have you ever turned to look at the back side of the tapestry? It is generally chaotic and does not present a clear picture. It may even be full of random threads and knots. However, it took all of those pieces to create the beautiful picture.
Such is my life. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and community. I have had a celebrated career in education. I have also had loose threads and knots along the way. I have even had some rips at the seams. However, Jesus mended them back together and continues to do so each day. I am thankful for grace and mercy and am eager to grow in each with you.
WHAT THE READERS SAY
"Pam has a wonderful way with words and her life experiences have given her inspiration for her devotions. Many times they have lifted my spirit and touched my soul. Many times an encouraging word or verse of scripture can relate to my own struggles. I always enjoy reading her devotions - they bring me joy!"
Keisha Warren, Nashville, GA
Pam's scripture-based devotions are thought-provoking with real applications to our daily lives. She shares in a way that inspires us to love our Lord and to seek Him daily. Christians are called to love others and be disciples. Sharing her experiences and how she relies on scripture is encouraging and provides hope. My prayer is that her devotions lead others to Christ and that lives are changed.

OUR Family
Our annual Christmas card always has the tag "The Williams Gang." This is partially due to the fact that I am not a fan of the way our name looks when it is in plural form. It is more due to the fact that we are a gang of imperfection. We have grown exponentially over the last decade and are thankful for each member. (Grands really are amazing!)
Rodney and I are a prime example of imperfection in marriage and are proof that relationships can weather mighty storms. Our children are now grown and have growing families of their own. We are blessed far more than we deserve. Our gang embraces the laughter, rides out the rough spots and binds together through it all!
Verses to Ponder
2 Count it all joy, my brothers,[a] when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the Lord
6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
